Is there anything that can be done to visually delineate sections and/or simplify the look? It is a more complex issue than I had imagined. This leads me to consider if separate default Text colors are required for light vs dark theme. My preference is for the Chat and List backgrounds to be either Black or White (depending upon if Dark Theme is preferred), but perhaps some of the wannabe script kiddies would love to set some gaudy custom colors for posting screenshots to their Instagram or whatever the fashion is these days.
